Fall Field Trip: AI in Manufacturing
Join us for an exclusive "field trip" on October 16th, 2026 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. This experience is designed to bridge the gap between education and industry. Together, we will hear directly from industry leaders about how AI is impacting the workforce and explore how we can collectively prepare the next generation to thrive.
📅 Event Highlights:
A Behind-the-Scences Look: Visit MANTEC’s new state-of-the-art training room at York College of Pennsylvania’s Knowledge Park.
Collaborative Action Sessions: Break out into peer groups based on your organization's current level of AI adoption. You’ll examine the direct impact of AI and identify immediate, practical next steps for safe, ethical AI integration.
Cross-Sector Networking: Connect with partners across education, industry, community organizations, and non-profits over a complimentary provided lunch.

This event is free and open to anyone invested in the future of our workforce. By convening voices from multiple sectors, we aim to build a clearer picture of our regional landscape and ensure our students succeed long after graduation.

Lincoln Intermediate Unit 12 and the FrAY STEM Ecosystem are excited to once again bring students together to explore the exciting world of Information Technology.
This annual hybrid event is open to students in grades 7–12 and will provide opportunities to:
Explore IT careers and pathways
Participate in engaging, hands-on activities
Hear from industry professionals
Connect with universities and others in the IT field
Students can attend in person at Lincoln Intermediate Unit 12 or virtually.
