I am a middle school math teacher and grade-level team captain within the South Western School District. Prior to my current role, I worked for 13 years in the field of special education, working to support students with diverse needs across the academic settings of math, science, and social studies. I am actively involved in our school’s advisory planning team, the grading and assessment team, and our schedule redesign initiative. I am passionate about cultivating a classroom environment, prioritizing engagement, and a process-based approach to learning math.
