The mission of the program is to reduce barriers to education and encourage students to learn more about science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM). Every complete application received by the required deadline (October 31, 2025) will be given a fair and careful evaluation. All information will be held in strict confidence.
Any high school junior or senior (Class of 2026 or 2027) who resides in PA, WV, or OH enrolled in a public, private, or parochial high school or home study program planning to enroll in a full-time course of study at an accredited two- or four- year college or university or technical school. Previous winners are not eligible.
One (1) scholarship of $500 should be used for undergraduate study only or technical school only.
Range Resources, in partnership with IU1, is offering a $2,000.00 scholarship opportunity to high school seniors in Allegheny, Beaver, and Washington Counties (please see the list of applicable schools below).
These seniors exemplify the spirit learning through their academics, leadership skills, career goals, volunteerism or civic-mindedness, and extra-curricular activities. Scholarships will be awarded to 2 students from each of the applicable districts. Scholarships will be awarded to the following applicants:
1 scholarship will be awarded to a student pursuing a trade/technical degree (two or four year degree)
1 scholarship will be awarded to a student pursuing a college/university degree (four year degree)
Applicants must submit at least one reference from a non-relative, example: teacher, coach, co-worker, ect. this should include the reference's name, title, and contact information and a brief description on why you should receive this scholarship.
All applications must be received by April 4, 2025. No late applications will be accepted.

The EQT Energize Your Education Scholarship Program offers one-time $10,000 academic scholarships to high school seniors planning to study engineering, earth science, IT, cyber security or other natural gas industry-related fields in either a 2-year or 4-year program.
Eligibility:
Currently high school seniors who live in one of the following counties where EQT has operations:
PA: Allegheny, Bradford, Centre, Clinton, Fayette, Greene, Lycoming, Tioga, Washington, Westmoreland
WV: Doddridge, Harrison, Marion, Marshall, Tyler, Wetzel
OH: Belmont
Students looking to pursue a career related to the oil & natural gas industry at a two-year or four-year educational institution. Fields of study include: computer science or information technology; civil, chemical, environmental or petroleum engineering; energy or land management; environmental science; geology; safety science or welding
A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher at the time of application
Children of EQT employees are not eligible
