While working part-time at Amazon, I developed valuable workplace skills that will support my growth in any professional setting. My role involved organizing customer orders with care and accuracy to ensure quality delivery, strengthening my attention to detail and responsibility in a fast-paced environment. I also supported non-English speaking coworkers by providing translation and cultural guidance, helping create a more inclusive and efficient team environment. Participating in teamwork training further taught me the importance of communication, collaboration, and maintaining a positive work culture. This experience has equipped me with strong interpersonal skills, adaptability, and a strong work ethic—all of which will benefit me in future roles that involve teamwork, communication, and customer service.
During my internship at the Indiana Immunization Coalition, I gained experience in healthcare data systems and patient interaction. I became proficient in using CHIRP and VaxCare to track and update immunization records, and I learned the importance of maintaining data accuracy in a clinical setting. I also had the opportunity to communicate directly with patients, offering personalized vaccine recommendations and sharing health information clearly and respectfully.
