Hello everyone!

My name is Sarah Boudaia and I'm majoring in Biology and minoring in Health Administration. I hope to work in both the healthcare field and as a researcher. Both interest me and despite urges from others to choose one or the other, I decided to pursue both!

My love for research developed over the years that I've taken science courses as a Biology major. I enjoy the experimental process as a whole including report writing, online research, and more. I enjoy presenting my own work and learning what others have found in their own research. Science is incredibly fascinating to me and continues to draw me in. On top of that, I also have a strong interest in healthcare. I want to primarily focus my research in medicine so a healthcare career to go along with it is fitting. I want to make a difference in people's health beyond just clinical or lab work. I want to do a combination of both.

The site I will be working in is Dr. Mendonca's research lab where a major part of what we will be doing is increasing the effectiveness of radiation as a treatment for lung and pancreatic cancers.
