Hello, my name is Salma Chemmaoui, and I am a Chemistry major with minors in Biology, Math, and Epidemiology. I aspire to be a Cardiothoracic or Trauma Surgeon. I am looking forward to researching alongside Dr. Mendonca and his team. Dr. Mendonca’s Lab primarily focuses on gaining a deeper understanding of the causes and prevention of radiation-induced cancer along with increasing the effectiveness of radiation treatments for certain types of rigorous cancers. I am excited to collaborate with like-minded individuals throughout this school year!
