Overview
My name is Roufael Hanna, but I go by Roufa (it’s much easier). I am a senior at Indiana University– Indianapolis, currently working to obtain a Bachelor's in Kinesiology and a Minor in Mathematics. My career goal is to go into physical therapy school. For my internship, I work with Dr. Stephen Schlecht in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at the IU School of Medicine. This involves research on anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injuries in children and adolescents to further improve the surgical outcomes in those who are injured. A fun fact about me is that I’ve never torn my ACL (knock on wood), but I am interested in learning new and different ways to prevent and repair the ACL ligament.
I have created this ePortfolio so I can share my current life experiences and showcase my journey toward my career and life goals. There are different tabs on here. Click around and get to know me, my career goals, and my research! :)
