Next Steps

I'm excited to share that I will be interning at Charles Schwab in Indianapolis this summer as a financial service representative. This role aligns with my career interest of working in finance and customer service. Charles Schwab will give me the exposure to the financial industry in many aspects including wealth management, stock trading, financial advising, portfolio management, and customer service. My previous work experience in customer service along with my studies in finance will pair very well with the culture at Charles Schwab. I plan to use and grow my skills in Microsoft excel, problem solving, data analytics, teamwork and more. I intend to work towards my career goal of financial advising while interning at Charles Schwab. 

During my internship I'll be working on many projects, including helping clients with customer service issues. A huge benefit of this internship is that Charles Schwab will pay for and help me study for the Securities Industries Essentials (SIE) exam. Once I pass this exam, I will be legally certified to discuss securities and give financial advice/suggestions to individuals.
