At Free Wheeling, employees frequently collaborate, especially within the marketing and repair teams. While much of the work is individualized, such as managing product listings or repairing bikes, team meetings and brainstorming sessions are held regularly to discuss projects, share ideas, and plan upcoming events. There is an open atmosphere where feedback is encouraged, and individuals have the opportunity to contribute ideas that can improve processes or services. I definitely feel like a part of the team, as my input is valued, and I have the chance to work closely with others on various initiatives, which has made the internship experience both engaging and rewarding.

What has surprised me most is how approachable and inclusive the staff is, creating an environment where feedback is welcomed and everyone's voice is heard, regardless of their role. This openness and sense of camaraderie have made the experience more enjoyable and fulfilling.
As an intern at Free Wheeling, my tasks and responsibilities primarily focus on managing product listings on the company’s website, ensuring that descriptions, pricing, and categorization are accurate. I also assist in developing and implementing promotional strategies to increase website traffic and drive sales. Additionally, I work closely with the marketing team to enhance online visibility and customer engagement, contributing to social media efforts and other marketing campaigns. My role also involves coordinating with other departments to support events and community initiatives, giving me a well-rounded experience in both operations and outreach.
