My recent body of work investigates how assigned female at birth people navigate the social landscape of the 21st century. Taking into context misogyny, social media, and other pertinent social issues, my oil paintings often feature a subject that metaphorically and sometimes physically represents myself in this world. I strive to connect women’s issues from the beginning of time to now, as well as communicate my own personal body image and experiences through the lens of the digital age.
