Even though I entered the IU Indy honors program as a Junior, I found the Introduction to Honors course (H200) to be extremely helpful in adjusting myself and my future plans to the next level. I found the topics and projects to be very helpful and informative.
During week 6 of my intro to honors class, me and two other students gave a presentation on imposter syndrome. Imposter syndrome is something I have experienced in the past, and working on this project informed me more about this topic as a whole and ways to overcome it.
During week 7 of my intro to honors class, I created a journey map that goes through six key events in my life that led to me becoming an honors student. This was a chance for me to really reflect on my life and everything I had to go through to get where I am today. It put a lot of things into perspective and made me feel proud of myself.
