The evaluation portion cements the process as a fully comprehensive and circular marketing plan.
I will be surveying students via email 24-48 hours after their pick-up or drop from food. Sending the email within the quick period can give them time to eat the meal and think about what they liked or disliked and how FuelU can adapt to any changes need made. The survey will be short 10 questions and encourage honest feedback. The metrics that will be tracked are cost, types of food being provided, and timeliness for delivering food. “Metrics tracking measures the actual performance of specific business activities or processes and provides a lower-level perspective” (What Is Metrics Tracking – and Why Is It Important?, 2022). Using metrics from this survey FuelU can act on the feedback timely to make changes to better the food system for the students. Surveys collect large amounts of data at a time and get new ideas for FuelU. Using a survey method is most effective because “Without research and feedback from your customers, employees, and stakeholders, it’s impossible to know how best you’re serving their needs” (Nicholas, n.d.). A successful marketing campaign includes goals with appropriate approach and consistent survey data collection. If FuelU has some unexpected changes, we will have to adapt along the way. Change of the entire program could happen or just something simple as providing different food. Innovating new ideas within FuelU will be the most powerful we can do.
