My name is Ayah Mahariq, and I am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Biology and Bachelors of Science in Neuroscience with a minor in Psychology. While I am still exploring potential career paths that align with my objectives, I am optimistic that the Life and Health Sciences Initiative (LHSI) will provide valuable guidance in this regard. Beyond my academic interests, I am a female Muslim Palestinian American, born and raised in the United States. I come from a close-knit family of seven, including two brothers and four sisters—two of whom are featured in the charming photograph to your right. As the eldest sibling, granddaughter, and niece, I place great importance on family, which significantly shapes my identity. I enjoy immersing myself in books, exploring the outdoors, and spending quality time with friends. Additionally, I find pleasure in bike riding and watching a variety of films.
