IUPUI selects 100 outstanding undergraduate students who demonstrate academic excellence, community involvement, and campus leadership and demonstrate what it means to be a Jaguar. I was honored to be an IUPUI Top 100 student this year as a senior. This was a goal of mine and I'm happy I achieved it!
Unexpectedly, Brandi nominated me for the leadership category for IUPUI's undergraduate student employee of the year for my work as senior ambassador. This was a heartwarming experience because it's not often that I get recognized for my efforts and Brandi continuously recognized my growth into leadership and efforts to help the program. She supported my Community-Building Event plans and helped hone my leadership skills. I not only won the leadership category, but I was the overall student employee of the year! I've been a student employee all four years of my IUPUI career and being recognized as the student employee of the year is a happy surprise. 🎉
