I experienced a sense of accomplishment during my internship when I received an invitation to witness the screening visit of a subject I had successfully recruited. It was a moment of pride as I usually engage with these individuals over the phone without the opportunity to witness their progress first hand. Something that I can apply from what I've learned is to continue to do my best and eventually that will be rewarded or lead to bigger things. Despite this success, the most challenging aspect of my internship has been identifying subjects who meet all the necessary criteria for participation. Overcoming this challenge requires a persistent effort on my part to enhance recruitment strategies and expand outreach to find individuals who fit the requirements. My internship has taught me to keep up the good work and recruiting enough subjects. This way, even if it's challenging to find eligible individuals, having a larger pool increases the chances of selecting those who meet the criteria.
