Letter to Student

Dear Future Student,

I hope you’re excited to start your journey with AJ—it’s an experience that will challenge and reward you in many ways. Working with AJ is a blend of energy, creativity, and adaptability. He is an incredibly vibrant and enthusiastic individual who approaches each session with a mix of curiosity and determination. You’ll quickly notice that his smile and humor can light up any room, and building a connection with him is both natural and rewarding.

AJ thrives on encouragement and positive reinforcement. He responds best when you show genuine excitement for his progress, even in small steps. During my sessions with him, I found that celebrating each victory, no matter how minor, helped keep him motivated and engaged. At the same time, be prepared to redirect his attention, as he can become easily distracted or impulsive, sometimes trying to leave an activity or explore other areas of the gym. Clear communication, consistent boundaries, and hands-on guidance are key in keeping him on track.

I recommend approaching each activity with flexibility and creativity. AJ responds well to visual cues and demonstrations, so don’t hesitate to show him how a movement is done before asking him to try. For example, during exercises like lat pulldowns, I would guide his movements to ensure proper form, which helped reinforce his confidence. He showed great enthusiasm when working on agility drills but needed support breaking down each step. AJ’s energy and eagerness to take on challenges make every session engaging, but patience is essential. Some days may be tougher than others, but building trust and maintaining a positive environment will go a long way. 

Working with AJ taught me the importance of adaptability, empathy, and staying present in each moment. Be prepared to celebrate his successes with him, laugh together, and find creative solutions to overcome obstacles. Above all, know that the effort you put in will be deeply rewarding—AJ has a way of leaving a lasting impact and making the experience truly meaningful.
