Q1. What will Rider Volunteers be doing on November 4?

On November 4, you will be driving to Arcadia road and pickup up pizzas or samosas and/or other goodies to pass to migrant workers. This is the first time we're opening up to Riders and we are so excited! 😀

Q2. How can I join to be a Rider Volunteer?

Please join this WhatsApp group for Deepavali Drive. We will broadcast the signup link when it is ready.

Q3. Who should I give this food to?

Q4. How do we allocate the samosas?

The benchmark is one samosa per worker.

Q5. What do I have to do if I signup for a Riding Volunteer slot?

Q6. What if there are no Riding Volunteer slots left?

Unfortunately, as we are doing this for the first time this year, we have a cap of 30 slots maximum. Feel free to sign up for other volunteering options or contribute to our fundraiser if you are interested to help in other ways.

Q7. If I choose to drive around freely, what happens if another car/bike takes the same route as me? Will we duplicate efforts?

There are so many road works and regular cleaning projects on a daily basis. It is highly unlikely that there will be duplications, and workers are always honest to say they have been given already and don’t double dip.

Q9. How many workers will I be delivering food to? Can I bring some sweets to pass on too?

Yes please! Feel free to bring mithai (traditional Indian sweets), clothes, chocolates or cold drinks to hand out and add your items to the samosas.
