The following terms and conditions apply to every person who establishes an internet connection to iTickets. By using iTickets, you are agreeing to comply with all of the terms and conditions listed here.

Though some events listed on the Site may appeal to children, the Site is not targeted at children under the age of 13, and they are not permitted to use the Site. All parents and guardians are strongly encouraged to monitor the Internet use by their children. If you use the Site, you affirm you are at least 13 years old.

CHANGES IN TERMS AND CONDITIONS

iTickets has the right to change or discontinue any feature of iTickets and/or change the terms and conditions for using it at any time. Such changes shall be effective immediately upon notice. Any use of iTickets after that notice shall be considered acceptance of these changes.

Thank you for ordering your ticket using iTickets.

TRANSACTION:

• We have reserved your entrance ticket and will not be able to refund you if you're unable to attend the event or cancel your order for whatever reason.

• Any changes to your tickets will be subjected to an admin fee.

• Admin fee will be applicable to monies paid incorrectly into any iTickets bank account.

The next web page will give you a confirmation number. If you do not get this number most likely iTickets did not receive your payment details.

You will also be sent a copy of the confirmation via email. If you have spam blocking software for your email please make sure to add iTICKETS.co.za to your allow list. If you do not, your email may get blocked or end up in junk mail by accident!

If you do not get a confirmation number on the next page and you do not get a confirmation email, please contact info@itickets.co.za to check before continuing.

• Transactions placed through iTickets.co.za are non-refundable and non-exchangeable.

• The service fee is non-refundable.

• The event owner and/or promoter of your event reserves the right to make changes to the event and it is their responsibility to keep you updated should there be any changes.

• Reserved seats - if the host decides to change the seating plan you will be contacted and re-allocated seats within the same price range.

TEMPORARY BOOKINGS (PENDING ORDERS):

• You will receive your tickets as soon as we can confirm your payment for the order. Your order will be kept for up to 12 hours. You may be given seats different to the specific seats chosen but still within the same ticket price allocation.

USE OF INFORMATION:

• You acknowledge and agree that by using the iTickets electronic ticket and event service, iTickets and the event owner and/or promoter reserves the right to add your email address to their event specific mailing list in order to provide future communication regarding other future events. The mailing list correspondence may include event regulations, safety and security protocol, items to bring along to the event, traffic route recommendations, etc.

• All correspondence from the mailing list will include a function whereby you may remove yourself (opt-out) from the mailing list at any given time.

TICKET ORDERING AND SERVICE FEES:

• All sales are non-refundable. Service Fees are non-refundable. For events processing money through iTickets, if the event cancels or postpones, the price of your ticket will be refunded, service fees are non-refundable. 

• For events & festivals that do not process money through iTickets, where iTickets provides order consolidation for third party promoters of the events, refund policies will be outlined in the order form, iTickets is not responsible for money collected.

• Tickets are not refundable or transferable and are not for resale in any form whatsoever; Tickets may not be used to up sell any unofficial commercial hospitality and or travel package; Failure to comply with these ticketing terms and conditions will lead to automatic cancellation of such tickets and such cancellation will be made without any refund whatsoever.

EVENT CANCELLATION OR CHANGE:

• Your purchase of Tickets is subject to the event owner's and/or promoter's right to cancel an Event at any time, or to reasonably alter or vary the Event programme or venue, due to circumstances beyond their reasonable control. You shall not be entitled to any refund or exchange if the Event programme or venue is reasonably altered or varied. If an opening act or guest artist is changed or cancelled, the event is not considered cancelled and you will not be entitled to a refund or exchange.

• If an Event is cancelled, iTickets shall in no way be liable for refunds but will assist in the refunding procedure as communicated by the event owner and/or promoter as soon as reasonably possible.

• iTickets will notify you of the refund when insurances have been paid out by the event owner and/or promoter.

• Should the EVENT be cancelled or postponed for any reason whatsoever, including Acts of God, and/or death of a states man/former states man, the Buyer agrees that Groot Tickets Pty Ltd may retain the full purchase price provided that Groot Tickets Pty Ltd will (at their sole distraction) agree to make such tickets valid for an allocated new date on which date the EVENT shall take place.

• Should the show be subject to COVID – 19 restrictions, the promoter reserves the right to cancel or postpone.

PHOTOGRAPHS/VIDEOS:

• As an event goer you agree that any photographs/video of yourself may be used for promotional purposes.

DUPLICATION OF TICKETS ARE STRICTLY PROHIBITED AND DUPLICATE TICKETS WILL MOST DEFINITELY NOT BE ALLOWED AT THE VENUE. ATTEMPTED DUPLICATION OR THE SALE OF TICKETS POSING TO BE THAT OF ITICKETS SHALL BE DEALT WITH AS FRAUD AND REPORTED TO THE AUTHORITIES.
