Interests and Bio

I am a Senior Lecturer in Mechanical Engineering at Idaho State University. My research focuses on compressor systems for a Westinghouse J34 jet engine, emphasizing modeling, performance analysis, and advanced control strategies. I earned my Ph.D. in Engineering and Applied Science (2024), my M.S. in Mechanical Engineering (2011), and my B.S. in Mechanical Engineering (2009), all from Idaho State University.

My broader research interests include thermodynamic systems, fluid dynamics, heat transfer, and adaptive control, with applications in turbomachinery, propulsion, and sustainable energy systems.
