Cajon- Box Drum

Materials Needed:

• Empty Box ( examples: cereal/popcorn/toy etc.)
• Tape
• scissors
• marker
• X-acto knife (ONLY ADULT USE)
• crayons/paper/stickers (if you would like to decorate)

What to Do:

1. Take your box and tape the opening shut

2. Draw a circle in the middle of one of the bigger sides of the box

3. With ADULT HELP let the ADULT use the X-acto knife and ONLY THE ADULT cut out the circle you had drawn

4. Decorate the box however you would like

5. Play it! See how it works and see if you can play a beat to your favorite song
