• Steel grades;
• Heat treatment of iron and steel;
• Technical drawing;
• Testing and properties of materials.

2. What technical skills do students acquire on this course?

The technical skills students acquire in the laboratory are the use of lathe and applicative abilities as for 2D drawing

The tools and the equipment we use in this laboratory are:

1. computer to put in fuction the application
2. lathe to shape the workpiece
3. circular saw to cut the piece
4. file to smooth parts of the workpiece
5. caliper to measure the pieces
6. spanner to calibrate the lathe
7. autocard to draw workpieces on the computer
8. shaper to sharpen the tools
9. sand paper to clean workpieces
