2025 PSSA Dates - April 22-May 9 

*Students are assigned 1 week of testing. Specific dates are determined by the testing site you are assigned to. 

• Students in grades 3, 4, 6, 7 take the ELA and math tests on Monday-Wednesday

• Students in grades 5, 8 take the ELA, math, and science tests Monday - Thursday

PSSA Weekly Schedule

Monday - English Language Arts Sections 1 and 2

Tuesday - English Language Arts Section 3 and Math Section 1

Wednesday - Math Section 2 and Science Section 1 (Grades 4 and 8)

Thursday - Science Section 2 (Grades 5 and 8)

Friday - Make ups

PSSA Daily Schedule will vary by site. 

Below is a sample day for a site with 8:30 arrival time. Please refer to your email from Testing Nirvana with your arrival time.

8:30 Student Arrival

9:00 Testing begins - Section 1

10:30-10:45 Break

10:45-12:15 Continue Testing - Section 2

12:30 Student Pick up

*This schedule is based off the recommendations of PDE. However, all tests are untimed. Students will continue to work on tests until the section is completed.
