ISO Middle School

For Middle School students, the biggest factor taken into consideration for summer learning was FUN. The Middle School students will be planning a trip: and engaging in all that entails: research, budget, and selecting activities to do. Each week, they will also complete a Video Log to turn in for feedback and accountability. Summer Learning is focused on building own responsibility and accountability for learning, and self direction into what work needs to be completed. They will have a meeting once per week with Mrs. Soubeiga (virtually), and they will receive weekly feedback on their work. All assignments will be completed on Google Classroom, and will harness technology to adequately prepare them for the upcoming year. The middle school summer program is designed to be challenging, while keeping their mind active with reading, writing, math, science, social studies, and art skills. The program is interconnected, and so they will look at all subjects while “traveling.” Looking forward to seeing you, and welcome to our rising 6th Graders! Bon Voyage!
