Grade 5 Students (Rising Grade 6) are also invited to join the Middle School Summer Learning Program!

The Elementary Summer Learning Program is largely to keep students reading and numeracy consistent throughout the summer. The elementary students have been doing a great job of distance learning, and this is a time when they can really drive their own learning. Students (and parents) should feel free to let their child choose what they want to do, and then complete it. In addition, we have compiled all the work assigned by teachers during distance learning, and so students have access to work they may not have completed during distance learning. There are no assignments to turn in, and parents should not feel pressured for students to complete work. This is a time when learning should be fun, and self directed! For example, some students may want to read books and look for information about bugs, and then play games that have bugs! That is perfect!
