Nghia Duong-Trung - Call for Charity

Dear donators,

Vietnam is a developing country and our hometown still has a lot of poor people. Along with many friends, we posted activities to raise donations from donators from all over the world who read this content or who are our Facebook friends. Please feel free to share. We have activities to build shelters for the poor, raise money to buy milk and food for children, build roads and bridges in disadvantaged rural areas, help people isolated in quarantine areas due to Covid-19, and many other calls. $1 can help a meal for an entire family.

If you are a donator, please see the activities we post on our personal Facebook pages of Tuyen, Son, and myself. All activities are posted in a public mode. The content is in Vietnamese but can be translated quickly with the translation tool from Facebook. Information on how to contribute is also attached to each activity.

Nhóm Con Đường Xanh - The "green road" group

Dear donators from all over the world,

In the past year, November 19, 2020 - November 19, 2021, our “green road” group has called for donations to implement over 152 activities with a total budget of more than 1 billion 600 million VND (~ 63000 Euro), helping thousands of people in difficult circumstances in very poor Vietnam’s countrysides. More specifically, we have called donations to build and repair 19 houses. We have built four rural bridges, repaired potholes, and installed solar-powered street lights on 17 road sections. In helping local schools, we have constructed one schoolyard. We have called to support 11 poor children in local hospitals whose families could not afford hospital fees. Our group has called 45 activities to donate food and necessities for the poor and unemployed people affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. Turning our eyes to quarantined areas, we have reached 45 activities to help workers and their children. Besides, we have called to repair three pagodas. Sadly, we have raised money for funerals of indigent cases.

We want to express our deep gratitude to all donators; most of them wish to remain anonymous. We thank the local government for facilitating the implementation of activities and reaching the disadvantaged people.

We wish everyone good health and peace. We want to ask the donators to continue supporting the activities in the coming year.
