For April’s issue, we’re celebrating the joys of our planet, since it’s Earth month. As such, the theme is “A Green Planet.”

What comes to mind when we think of our planet that Carl Sagan famously described as a "pale blue dot" (read about the iconic Voyager 1 photograph here)? How can we build sustainable communities and protect our environment? This is the home of 8 billion people, and everything we’ve ever known lies here. We’re but a speck in the vastness of the universe -- how does that strike you?

This month, our writers were inspired to write about a variety of fascinating topics, from sustainable fashion and agriculture to ecotourism and vertical farming. It’s lovely to see these connections, and we hope you enjoy reading about them this month!
