International School Manila is excited to welcome our IASAS friends virtually to IASAS Music 2022. This year's convention is especially important because we are celebrating 40 years of the IASAS conference and, therefore, 40 years of building friendships between the member schools. To be an IASAS Alumni is to be part of a rich history, and also a living history, with individual friendships continuing into the college years and beyond. This solid foundation has enabled the IASAS network to endure the pandemic by shifting events online thus ensuring the Spirit of IASAS remains an important part of our students' lives. While ISM would rather be welcoming flights from across South East Asia for IASAS Music 2022, we are still excited to connect virtually and collaborate creatively with our IASAS friends again. I would like to take this opportunity to thank several important groups, who have made this event possible:

• The ISM Administration, who believe in the value of the Arts and support our participation in these co-curricular events.

• The ISM Music team, who have all worked tirelessly to shape this event into a wonderful learning opportunity for IASAS Musicians.

• To the ISM Fine Arts Office and ISM Tech Team who are working behind the scenes to ensure the smooth running of things.

• To the 15 Guest Conductors and Adjudicators who will lend their expertise to our IASAS Delegates over the next few days.

• To the IASAS Music Advisors who have guided and encouraged their students over the last 4 months.

• To the IASAS Activities Directors and IASAS Board who have worked hard to ensure IASAS continues throughout the pandemic.

• Most importantly, to all IASAS Music Delegates who have continued to grow through their love of music despite the challenges of the pandemic.
