INSTRUCTORS WANTED. The East Islip Soccer Club has a special needs soccer program called Just for Kicks. We generally have about 90 players with special needs involved. The program is essentially run by young adults between the ages of 12 to 20 and they assist our young players. The success of the program is based on our instructors giving back to these players. Knowing how to play soccer is not a requirement. What is….you need to be KIND, patient , understanding and willing to make a difference in not just the players life but the family that looks to this program as one of the few opportunities for their child to be on a TEAM.
We are having an instructor meeting at the Westbrook soccer fields on Sept 8th from 5:30 to 6:15.

American Pool is a local pool management company that provides services to commercial community pools. Within these pools we provide lifeguard job opportunities for teens starting at age of 16. Becoming a lifeguard encourages responsibility, teaches lifesaving skills, and looks great on college applications. Discounted training courses are available if not already certified.
We have lifeguard positions available to work at in Amityville, Bohemia, Central Islip, Coram, Deer Park, East Islip, East Northport, Elwood, Farmingdale, Farmingville, Hauppauge, Holbrook, Huntington Station, Lloyd Harbor, Manorville, Mastic Beach, Medford, Melville, Middle Island, Port Jeff Station, Ridge, Riverhead, Selden, South Setauket, Wading River as well as Nassau, Brooklyn and Queens.
We also have limited Pool Attendant positions that only require CPR certification in Eastport, Manorville, Nesconset, Northport and Mount Sinai.

My name is Victoria and I am the Regional Director of Operations at ABLE Home Health Care. I am putting together a FREE Training class to become a NY Certified Home Health Aide for the graduates of 2023. If you have Seniors that are not sure about their next steps, looking for a career, or just want to earn some money while they wait for College to begin. ABLE is the place for them. Being a Home Health Aide is rewarding and helps develop individuals with their work ethic and compassion. But what is even better …the hours are super flexible. The only requirements is they are at least 18years old and have a desire to help others. The class is only 3 weeks long and they will begin to work.
