We hooked up the bladder to a stove to melt honeycomb; although the weight helped pressurize the system, the rods on the corners were too thick, prohibiting the bag from sliding naturally; someone had to manually push the frame down every few minutes. The honeycomb melted quickly and started to boil in close to an hour's time. However, we know the bag can last for a long time.Â
The adjustments for further tests;
Reduce the diameter of the rods
Test how far the gas can be from the stove and the side effects.
Test exactly how long the bag can last with one with the cooker on vs two.
The second test went much better than the first; we adjusted the thickness of the rods on the corners so that the frame would slide easily. We tested with two burners instead of one, the bladder didn't deflate as quickly as expected, and both burners were on full heat.
