The course addresses the four language skills of speaking, listening, reading and writing in an integrated fashion, with a focus on speaking. The course uses familiar enhanced vocabulary and grammar applied in new situations. Emphasis is placed on oral communication skills, through role plays, guided and unguided conversations and English/Arabic translations.
The course aims to enable students to become more familiar with the vocabulary and be able to communicate more fluently and with confidence. The course will offer:
Introduction to the rules of Arabic writing.
Reading and writing of the 28 Arabic letters in isolated and connected forms at a Beginning level.
