The art of debating enhances your critical thinking skills. It helps you to identify holes in your opinion and rustle up more balanced arguments. This course will be for the debaters, of the debaters, and by the debaters.

In this course, learners will be able to:

• Gain improved poise, confident speech delivery and enhance public speaking skills.

• Enhance self-confidence public speaking.

• Discuss and share ideas/ issues.

• Learn great ways to state your point with forbearance.

• Improve your listening and notes taking skills.

• Increase information retention.

• Improve teamwork and collaborative skills.

• Learn to stand confidently for the truth whenever a discussion is advocating falsehood.

Activities: Debating on topics and issues that interest you all and watching debates.

We would work on brushing up on your research and public speaking skills.

What you’ll need: Your passion for debating, a device to research, a stable internet, a pen/ pencil, and any spare papers or notebook you have. And yes, willingness to research on that topic and preparing for your debate independently.

This is an introductory studio course in drawing with an emphasis on representation from direct observation. Drawing is fundamentally about learning to see, and to transport that vision onto paper through a variety of mark-making techniques. The class will consist of in-class projects. 

Learners will be working on variety of drawing techniques, explore the variety of drawing materials, and work on critiques, short lectures, and video screenings. 

Students will learn: 

• To acquire a thorough understanding of the elements of art and the principles of

organization as related to drawing.

• Gain an understanding of figure and ground and their role in a drawing.

• To work with the visual elements of line, shape, form, space, value, and texture in the creation of drawings.
