Sophie Peccaud is a Global Citizenship Advocate and Social Entrepreneur dedicated to empowering young people to take action and contribute to a better world. As the Head of Partnerships at Inspire Citizens, she works with international schools to strengthen service-learning programs and build meaningful collaborations between students, educators, community partners, and social entrepreneurs.
Originally from France, Sophie studied business and quickly noticed a gap between what students learn and the realities of the world around them. This realization inspired her to embark on a ten-year journey through the Caribbean, Brazil, the Philippines, Portugal, and Morocco. Along the way, she launched two social enterprises: Braziliando in Rio de Janeiro and MAD Courses in Manila - both designed to help young people engage with real-world challenges, foster cultural understanding, and take informed action through purposeful travel.
After returning to France in 2024, Sophie sought to scale her impact. She now focuses on creating transformative learning experiences that integrate curriculum, experiential learning, and ethical global engagement. Her work continues to inspire students and educators to become compassionate, skilled, and responsible global citizens.
