COURSE DESCRIPTION AND GOALS
U.S. Government 12 is a rigorous course that is meant to serve as an introduction to the workings of the U.S. Government and your role in it. This semester long course analyzes the development of government to how our modern government operates. To be successful in this course it is necessary to put forth your best effort and unlock your curiosity about the government. The course will help you build civic literacy and prepare you to participate in government not just be an observer. These skills will be mastered as you complete different activities in the course. You will come out of this course with useful information to prepare you for a role as an active citizen in our government, from the national to local level.
