AVID stands for Advancement via Individual Determination, it is a college readiness program designed to help students develop the skills they need to be successful in high school, college, and the workforce. The AVID program focuses heavily on career and college exploration, WICOR strategies (Writing, Inquiry, Collaboration, Organization, Reading).
