I love teaching because it is one of the most rewarding careers. I believe a teacher can have a huge impact on students’ life, and to see a student progress and grow is something that brings me great joy as a teacher.

I have had a variety of experiences in the educational field working with different levels from Elementary School. My professional experiences have given me the opportunity to work with students from different countries and customs.

During the time I have been teaching I taught Mexican history, language and culture in the program Migrant Summer School, as well as, I taught in the program Dual Language Immersion (DLI) as a Spanish Teacher. The experience of teaching in two different countries has given me a better understanding of different cultures, learning from different educational styles and approaches.

In addition to my professional experiences, there are many different things I like to do as my hobbies.

The activities I like doing during my leisure time, are: reading, listening to music from different countries and taking pictures of landscapes. I enjoy reading very much. Reading helps to broaden my general knowledge and improve my writing skill.

Another two things I like to do are walking and biking because these activities make me feel healthy and happy. As well as, both activities allow me to see much more than other forms of transport. I love cycling most of all because it gives me freedom. It's about being outside, the wind in my hair and the sights and sounds of life in the city or countryside. I sometimes do other forms of exercise – a bit of running and going to the gym.

I am continuously curious and open minded to learn new things, hardworking and enthusiastic. I believe that teaching makes a lasting contribution to students and it is important for them to acquire both knowledge and skills. I want to pass on all that I have learnt to others and I believe this age group to be the one that I want to inspire and encourage.
