Mission: The Media Department inspires all learners to read, inquire, create and share as ethical citizens of the world.
Goals:
Students explore the media center to discover a wide variety of resources for pleasure and personal growth.
Students ask questions and use critical thinking skills to evaluate information and deepen their understanding.
Students view themselves as readers and understand that they are part of a broad, inclusive reading community.
Students use resources in a safe, responsible, collaborative, and ethical manner.
Students pursue self-directed topics of interest.
