PURPOSE
I coach to develop players as responsible, committed, and competitive young adults who will lead through integrity, kindness, empathy and service.
PHILOSOPHY
Success is accomplished by getting athletes to work their hardest, to play together as a team and achieve their ultimate potential while having fun. Players will learn the importance of teamwork, collaboration, and trust. Players will have respect. Good sportsmanship is a must and players will have respect for teammates, opponents, officials, coaches, and self. Players will work their hardest and learn to be dedicated, committed, and accountable.
PROGRAM PARTICIPATION
7th and 8th Grade: All players will be given an opportunity to participate. Players are expected to be at practice and work hard; earning a chance to play in the game. Playing time can never be equal, but coaches will do their best to manage playing time to the best of their ability, as long as the player is in good standing.
C (9th Grade): All players will be given an equal opportunity in practice as long as the players show up to practice and work hard. Playing time is not a guarantee on C Team. Coaching staff will put the most competitive players on the court.
JV: All players will be given an equal opportunity in practice as long as the players show up and work hard. Playing time is not guaranteed in JV games. Coaching staff will put the most competitive players on the court, regardless of age/grade. Moving a younger player (9 grade or below) up to JV may occur and is at the discretion of the head coach.
Varsity: The goal is to continue challenging and developing players at the varsity level. The coaching staff will play the best players in our program regardless of age/grade. It is at the discretion of the head coach to move a younger player up to varsity.
COMMUNICATION PLAN
