Meet Mrs. Scheel

Hello! My name is Mindy Scheel, and this is my 15th  year teaching at PEM Elementary. Prior to coming to PEM, I taught second grade for five years with the Rochester Catholic Schools.

I graduated from Winona State University in Winona, MN with a BA in Elementary Education. I also obtained my Master's in Teaching and Learning from Winona State University.

My husband, Mike, and I have been married for 21 years. We have one son, Cole, who is 16 and looking forward to being a freshman this year. We also have a 11 year old daughter, Ava, who is excited to be a 5th grader. I love being a mom! We cherish our time together as a family. In my free time I enjoy boating, reading, walking, and spending time with my family and friends.

I am excited to be teaching such a terrific group of first graders this year! I look forward to all the FUN we are going to have in first grade!!
