Art Assessments

Your child will receive semester grades only from art. To help make a more meaningful art grade I also will be altering the way I assess your child.

Assessments are based on the MN Art Standards. Grades will be done on a scale of 1-3, with 3 being the highest score. This assessment will be sent along with student’s full report card explaining the outcome of the final grade.

K-3 grade student work is sent home throughout the semester. Classes take turns displaying their work in the hallways, media center, and at the public library.

You will find Assessments for each grade attached below. Let me know if you have

any questions!
