PTA Board Positions and Event Leads for 2024-25

There is a strong need to fill event lead positions and PTA boards positions for the next school year, 2024-25.  

PTA Board elections take place during our next PTA meeting, May 7. Event leads are not an elected position.

These are purely voluntary positions, and create opportunities to work directly with the school and PTA board to lead and coordinate activities that enhance the OLE student experience. 

Open PTA board positions 

co - Vice President (we currently have 1 person who plans to join the team, looking for a second. This role supports the PTA president)

co - Treasurer (need 1, will work with experienced Treasurer Ali Otting)

co - Secretary (need 1, will work with experienced Secretary Stephanie Meyer)

Open event lead positions (traditional committee chairs)

Book Fair (Spring Event)

Coordinate with Scholastic and staff to bring books into school and run the event

Earth Day (spring)

Conservation related project or craft coordinated with staff and students

Silent Auction (winter)

Coordinate in kind donations with local businesses for Carnival silent auction event

Fall conference meals (fall)

Coordinate a meal for our amazing teachers during fall conferences kick-off

Tool boxes (spring/summer)

Work with vendor to make supply orders and distribute to classes at beginning of school year

Family fun night coordinator (through the year)

Lead an activity or game for a 1 hour get together with OLE families

Yearbook photographer 

Capture and collect memories throughout the year during the school day and at events, compile the yearbook with Lifetouch, and distribute at end of year
