Dear Parents/Guardians/Students/Coaches,
Starting on Wednesday, January 28, 2026, at 8 a.m. the Jefferson and Kennedy High School Activities Departments will
be opening online registration for high school spring sports and activities. In addition, middle school track and field will be
open for registration on this day.
**Everyone will need to log into SmartSchoolK12 to register. If you haven’t registered before, you will need to
create an account. In order to create a new account you will need 3 things:
1. STUDENT ID
● You can log into your Infinite Campus account to get your student’s ID #
2. A CURRENT PHYSICAL IN INFINITE CAMPUS
● You can log into your Infinite Campus account and go to the ATHLETICS TAB to see if your student has a
current physical in the system, which is good for 3 years.
● If the physical is not current, the SmartSchoolK12 system will not let you register. If the physical is set to
expire during the season, the SmartSchoolK12 system will not let you register.
● If you need a new physical, please click here and you can find the form and some free options for physicals
listed under the “sports physical information”.
● If you are a high school student and have a new physical, please turn it in at either Jefferson’s or Kennedy’s
Activities Offices.
● If you are a middle school student and have a new physical, please turn it in to your school nurse. It will take
24 hours to update the system once the school nurse has entered it into Infinite Campus.
3. STUDENT’S DATE OF BIRTH
Please review the information below to help you get to the correct spot if you are looking for specific information about
your school’s offered programs or if you have specific questions, you can direct them to the correct person. If you just
want to begin the registration process, please click here, and the link will take you to the registration website (click on the
soccer ball to register).
1. If you are looking for Jefferson registration and sports programming information, please click here. Please
contact Stephanie Kasel at skasel@isd271.org with any questions about Jefferson’s registration. If you have a
new physical that needs to be turned in, please contact Stephanie Kasel to get the physical into the system so
you may register.
2. If you are looking for Kennedy registration and sports programming information, please click here. Please contact
Lori Esser at lesser@isd271.org with any questions about Kennedy’s registration. If you have a new physical that
needs to be turned in please contact Lori Esser to get the physical into the system so you may register.
3. If you are a middle school student registering for a 7-12 spring high school sport like Girls' Lacrosse you must
register with your attendance area high school. If you have questions on this, please connect with either
Stephanie Kasel (Jefferson) at skasel@isd271.org or Lori Esser (Kennedy) at lesser@isd271.org. If you have a
new physical that needs to be turned in please contact Stephanie Kasel or Lori Esser to get the physical into the
system so you may register.
4. If you are a middle school student (grades 6-8) registering for middle school track and field please follow steps
1-2 as stated above and click here to register. If you have any questions regarding the middle school track, please
see this document. Any further questions, contact John Born, middle school activities director at

A partir del Miercoles 28 de enero de 2026 a las 8: a.m. los departamentos de actividades de las preparatorias Jefferson
y Kennedy abrirán las inscripciones en línea para los deportes de primavera. Adicionalmente, las inscripciones para
atletismo de pista y campo de la secundaria estarán abiertas también.
** Todos deberán entrar a SmartSchoolK12 para registrarse. Si no se ha registrado antes, deberá crear una
cuenta. Para crear una nueva cuenta, necesitará 3 cosas:
1. IDENTIFICACIÓN DEL ESTUDIANTE
● Puede entrar a su cuenta Infinite Campus para obtener el número de identificación de su estudiante.
2. UN EXAMEN FÍSICO PARA DEPORTES ACTUALIZADO EN INFINITE CAMPUS
● Entre a su cuenta de Infinite Campus y vaya a la PESTAÑA DE ATLETISMO para ver si su estudiante tiene
un examen físico actualizado en el sistema, el cual es válido por 3 años.
● Si el examen físico no está actualizado, el sistema SmartSchoolK12 no le permitirá registrarse.
● Si necesita un examen físico nuevo, haga clic aquí y podrá encontrar la forma y algunas opciones gratuitas
para que le hagan el examen físico a su estudiante, en la “información física deportiva”.
● Si el estudiante es de la preparatoria, y tiene un examen físico nuevo, entregue una copia en las oficinas de
actividades de Jefferson o Kennedy.
● Si el estudiante es de la secundaria y tiene un examen físico nuevo, entregue una copia a la enfermera de su
escuela. Una vez que la escuela lo sube a Infinite Campus, tomará 24 horas para que el sistema se
actualice.
3. FECHA DE NACIMIENTO DEL ESTUDIANTE
Si está buscando información específica sobre los programas que ofrece su escuela, revise la información a continuación
para ayudarlo a llegar al lugar correcto, o si tiene preguntas específicas, para que pueda dirigirlas a la persona correcta.
