I am the DAPE lead for all of the Bloomington Public schools. I have been employed in Bloomington for 24 years and have taught at all levels in my 30+ years of teaching. I substitute taught in DAPE for 5 years and was employed for one year full time in Shakopee before moving to Bloomington. Currently, I am teaching at Jefferson High School in the morning and Valley View Middle in the afternoon. As the DAPE lead, I am very proud of the creativity and positive teaching skills of our group. They work as a team to purchase/create equipment best fit for the success of our students. The creativity of our program is constantly growing with new activities and teaching techniques. I am confident that if your child is in one of our programs, you will be pleased with the goals we can help your child reach throughout the years. I look forward to seeing all of my students each day and climb the ladder of success with each one. Feel free to email me with concerns/successes.
Greetings! This is my 3rd year teaching DAPE in the Bloomington School District. I also coach JV softball at Jefferson High School. Teaching DAPE brings me such joy as I get to work 1 on 1 with students to help them achieve their gross motor goals. I am also a big advocate for inclusion and am very excited to be starting a unified program at my buildings this year. I have 3 dogs, 1 cat, and a husband that keep me active as we enjoy being outside, working in the garden, going to the lake, and cuddling up as a big pack family to watch movies.

I also coach adapted floor hockey in the winter. My wife, two kids, dogs, and I live in Apple Valley and enjoy spending time outside being active.
