AVID Strategies

AVID Intersects with Multi-Tiered Systems of Supports as it provides high-quality teaching strategies centered around WICOR (Writing, Inquiry, Collaboration, Organization, Reading) and AVID's College and Career Readiness Framework (see right).

AVID strategies are Tier One strategies for MTSS that support high-quality instruction. These strategies make high-quality instruction accessible for all students as they engage in writing, inquiry, collaboration, organization, and reading (WICOR).
