School Rentals

ISD 194 schools have a collection of instruments to loan out to students if other means of obtaining an instrument are not available for your family at this time. We prioritize the use of these instruments for families that need them or for instruments that are difficult to rent/purchase. If this option will allow your student to be in band, please follow the directions below, and we will make sure there is an instrument available for them.

The fee is $150 for the entire year, but will be reduced/eliminated if necessary.

How do I get a school instrument?

Please wait until the school year begins to complete the steps below.

Complete the Rental Agreement Form

This lets us know that you will be renting a school instrument.
You must read through and agree to the rental terms.

Pay for the instrument rental through the Infinite Campus School Store

Here are instructions on how to use the school store.
The rental cost will be automatically updated to reflect a free/reduced rate, if applicable.

Purchase a lesson book for your student
- - All students will also need our lesson book: Musical Magic - Book 1 (yellow). This is NOT included with a school rental. It can be purchased at any of the local music stores.
  - If your family is unable to purchase a lesson book for your student, please let your band teacher know and they will accommodate as needed.

Lesson Book - Musical Magic, Book 1 (yellow cover)
- Make sure the book is for the correct instrument!
- Percussion will also need - Alfred's Drum Method, Book 1 (blue cover)
Music Stand - Foldable wire or plastic (for practicing at home)
- This is not mandatory, but it will make practicing at home much easier.

Only percussionists need to purchase this lesson book.
This is in addition to the mallet Musical Magic book.
