Improvement

Instructional improvement follows a four-fold process of planning for instructional innovation, implementing initial ideas, refining through a process of discovery, and evaluating against aspirations at set points to determine future direction. This model is carried out in different ways and through different processes throughout the district. Curriculum improvement through Planning, Evaluating, and Reporting (PER) seeks to align the district strategic plan with content and instruction objectives. The improvement cycle also plays out through reflective conversations as part of FATPPS/Q Comp peer-coaching as well as administrative review of teachers and principals.
