Once you are logged in to Destiny Discover, you can click on your name in the top right hand corner.
In the dropdown menu you will be able to see books you have put on hold, what you currently have checked out, what you have checked out in the past, and any fines you may have.
If you find a book you may be interested in reading at a later date, or a book that you've read and you absolutely love, you can add it to your list of favorites.

Anoka County Library: Can't find a book in our library, check the Anoka County Library page to see if they have it available.
World Cat: Can't find the book you are looking for in our library or at the Anoka County Library. World Cat can show you if any of libraries in the surounding areas might have it.
JSTOR: Doing a project and you need to find resources? JSTOR is a digital library of journals, books and other sources that may be helpful. (Currently JSTOR is giving access to 100 free articles per month until December 31, 2020. Instructions for creating an account are listed below)
Ebooks Minnesota: An online eBook collection that is open to all Minnesotans.
Click on the Log In icon at the top right hand corner of the page.
Choose Log In using your Google Account.
Choose your ISD14 Google account from the popup menu.
Now you are able to browse the catalogue at your school.
On the SOS home page, click the link for your school, this will take you to the Destiny Discover website. This is where you will be able to browse through the books in our library and put one on hold.
Before you start browsing, log in to Destiny. You will find the log in button in the top right hand corner of the screen. Please log in using your Google account.
Now that you are logged in, you will be able to put books on hold.
To find a book, you can simply look it up in the search bar at the top. Or if you're not sure what you would like to read, you can choose to browse any of the topics/genres.
While browsing the topics/genres you can set filters on the left side of the screen. You can search by availability, subject, author, etc.
When you find a book you would like to check out, you can simply click the hold button in the bottom right hand corner of the book. You will be notified that a copy has been put on hold and when it should be picked up by.
Click on the JSTOR Icon, located under the Learning Links on the Destiny Discover Homepage.
In the upper right hand corner of the JSTOR page, click on Register.
Enter your ISD14 email account. (For a password, we recommend using the same password you use for logging in at school)
For Institution, enter Fridley High School, and for Role enter K-12 Student.
There is no need to select a Primary Area of Study.
Make sure you check the box for Terms and Conditions and then click Register.
Now you should be able to search the JSTOR database for articles on any topic of your choosing.
Once you are on the Destiny Discover page, you can click on the 3 lines (the hamburger) in the top left hand corner. You will see an option that says Collections.
Here you can look through collections of books and articles that have been specifially currated around a certain topic.
