Students will learn German through culture and universal, relatable themes like: introducing myself and others; school; family; hobbies; sports; food; and travel.  Students will develop the essential language skills of speaking, listening, reading and writing by engaging with authentic materials in German.  Students will share their ideas using German as well as interpret and respond to various texts.
