The student will exhibit responsible personal and social behavior that respects self and others.
Take-A-Break: A take-a-break in physical education class is given when a students choices are not promoting a positive experience for themself or others in class. Take-a-break are given if other redirection strategies have not changed the behavior. Take-a-breaks are short breaks to remove the student from the behavior and allow an opportunity to start over after discussing better choices with the teacher.
Extends Standard = Participates in physical education class modeling social behavior for others to follow.
Meets Standard = Participates in physical education class with less than three take-a-break's.
Basic Level = Participates in physical education class with 3 - 5 take-a-break's.
Approaching = Has greater than 5 take-a-break's. Does not demonstrate respect to self, peers, and/or equipment.
