The Challenge : Use software or live instruments, write original music or cover someone else's work. It's all good. Be creative and enjoy yourself.
Product : All songs lengths are welcome, but after about 3 minutes our Millennial brains get distracted.
How to share : As soon as you upload your finished song to Google Drive and share it with mhslibrary@isb.be, we will award you your Songwriting Challenge Badge.
Software / Apps
Many options and however you can make it work is good. Here are 2 that we like to work with.
Garageband is great for recording your own music live as well as creating digital music.
Audiotool.com is a fantastic free platform for creating digital music.
Tutorials
To start with you may just want to dive in, play around and figure it out.
But if you want to dig a little deeper, you can use built in help tutorials, search online for specific skills tutorials or look at these ones for Audiotool and Garageband.
