The purpose of library classes is to help kindle an enthusiasm for reading in our students. Classses therefore focus on sharing worthwhile stories and having students become independent in selecting books that match their passion and reading ability.
ECC Library Classes
All ECC classes have a weekly contact 30' library time. Ms. Elle works with our youngest students while Mr. Laleman (or Lemonade) teaches grades 1 and 2
ES Library Classes
ES classes have a weekly scheduled 30' library time. Biweekly this time will be led by the Teacher Librarian, either Mr. Laleman for G3-4 or Mme Toilier for G5-6.
On alternate weeks homeroom teachers are welcome to visit the library with their classes. The TL will be spending the alternate weeks working supporting the research needs in various grade levels.
